Channel Marketing Manager
The whole thing took about four weeks, and I really liked how detailed it was. The recruiter kept in touch—not just for updates, but to make sure I was still good and wanted to keep going. First up: A screening call with the recruiter. It was more than just basic questions, she really knew her stuff. Next: An interview with the hiring manager. Then: A chat with the sales leader I'd be working with. After that: An interview with the CMO. Finally: Reference checks. I loved everyone I met, which made me even more excited about possibly working at Verkada. It shows how much they care about hiring the right people and making sure everyone fits the culture and team, which is key for lasting success.

Marketing Manager
The first interview was short with a junior person, who seemed inexperienced in interviewing and the marketing function. Then, I had to complete a detailed business case, which took a lot of time but wasn't reviewed. The second round interview was with a senior, experienced person and went well. After that, it went silent. Upon checking, I learned they changed the role requirements and seniority. This felt unprofessional, and I think they should finalize job descriptions before recruiting. They should also be more mindful of people's time, especially with lengthy business cases. It confirmed my doubts about their recruiting process's lack of experience and immaturity.

Field Marketing Manager
The recruiter call went great. The recruiter seemed nice and we scheduled the next interview for the following week. He said he'd email me by the end of the day with confirmation. Nothing. I emailed him that Friday to thank him and ask for confirmation on the next interview time and date. Still nothing. I followed up one last time on Tuesday, the day before the interview. Still nothing. I was pretty unimpressed with the lack of communication. I wouldn't have minded if they had moved on with someone else, but ghosting me after setting up another interview? That's not cool.
