Customer Service Representative
First you'll chat with a recruiter who'll talk about the job and ask about your experience. They'll also cover benefits, pay, etc. If that goes well, you'll meet with the hiring manager. They'll go over what the recruiter said and then do a role-play where you act as the rep and they're the upset customer.
- Can you share an instance where you went above and beyond to meet a goal?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle an angry customer.
- Tell me about a time when things didn't work out the way you expected.
Call Center Representative
So the interview was pretty simple. Two ladies talked to me. We did some light chatting, then went over my resume. We discussed my previous work history and how it fits the job. They asked about me as a person, my ambitions, my abilities, how I work, and my interpersonal style. Then we did a phone call simulation, which was basic. The customer had a problem with the service, and I needed to figure out what it was and show them I understood their frustration.
- Can you share what you consider your strengths and weaknesses?
- Tell me about your previous work experiences and how they relate to this role.
- What can you tell me about yourself, your career aspirations, your skill set, your preferred working method, and how you interact with others?
Customer Service Representative
I had a phone interview, which was about 30 minutes long. First, they asked me some questions about my background and experience, and then we moved on to questions specific to the job.
- Can you describe your most challenging customer interaction and explain how you handled it?
