A recruiter reached out to me. I then had a phone call with the hiring manager. I haven't heard back yet. I'd like to share more, but I can't. I'm only writing this because there's a 30-word minimum and Glassdoor requires it. So, you should probably ignore this review.

It's pretty hard to get hired here. There's a required test that you have to pass for the specific job family you're applying to. This test is kept on your record forever, and if you want a promotion later, you can't even be considered unless you retake and pass it again. The whole process to get in is really long. The work environment can be stressful.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • For management positions, the interview process varies depending on the interviewer.
  • For union personnel, there is no face-to-face interview, which is why there's a comprehensive set of tests required for the position and a long probation period.
  • Approximately 30-40% of those tested fail.

Started with some background questions, then STAR questions (Situation, Task, Actions, Results). They asked me to explain why they should hire me. Then more background questions. I went through a panel interview with people currently in the role. I also interviewed with another Director who was a trusted adviser to the hiring manager.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you describe a situation where you provided excellent customer service and how it impacted you?
  • Explain your motivation for why we should hire you.
  • Can you share an example of a time you delivered outstanding customer service and the feelings associated with it?
