I applied on their website and heard back about a virtual interview on Google Meets. It was pretty standard, and the interviewer was really nice and made it easy to chat. I got a callback within a couple of days and they offered me the job.

So before anything, Verisys made me do a drug test. Like 3 days after I turned that in, the HR Coordinator called me and asked me to come in. The first interview was pretty long, like 3 hours. I had to do a typing test, which was quick, about 5 mins. Then they had me look at a press release and pull info to see if it matched a candidate or not, the HR Manager gave me like 5 mins for that. After that, the HR Manager and HR Coordinator did the main face-to-face interview. They asked me about my health care and federal employment background, what I knew about Verisys, any special skills I have that could help the company, and what I'm looking for from them. That part took about an hour and a half.

The interview was pretty relaxed and not stressful at all. I spoke with two people at the same time, rather than one after the other. They focused on questions about my future goals and passions, what I like to do in my free time, and what's important to me, instead of the usual interview questions.
