So I was approached by Verisure for a confidential role, to replace someone not doing too well. Went through multiple in-person interviews over two months, with recruitment, sales, and the UK Country Head. A fourth round was planned but didn't happen because the interviewer got sick. I got really good vibes throughout, like I was exactly what they needed. After all that, I expected them to get in touch professionally, but nope. Complete silence for almost four months. I sent polite follow-ups, nothing. Only when I sent a really firm email did they finally call and say the job went to someone internal. They even admitted their Glassdoor reviews are usually bad, and they had to push employees to post positive stuff. Seems like they have high turnover, confused team structures, and the UK leadership is directionless, just copying France instead of making their own strategy. Ghosting candidates like that after they've invested so much time and effort in face-to-face interviews is seriously disrespectful. Glad I dodged that bullet, honestly. I'd tell others to steer clear.

It was a group interview. Very good, but you need to prepare for it. Be yourself and believe in yourself to stand out from other candidates. Between 15 and 20 participants. A role-playing exercise, speaking in front of the group.

I was contacted by a recruiting agency. Then I had an interview with the hiring manager, but I couldn't really connect with him. Verisure is owned by a PE firm that aims to boost the company's valuation before selling it. To achieve this, they hire many management consultants to improve efficiency, focus on growth, and work long hours. The hiring manager was a former management consultant, and it felt like he could only relate to how management consultants operate. However, he did ask relevant questions, and he seemed like a nice person. I got an email saying I wasn't selected for the next stage, so there was no follow-up call or feedback.
