Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Verisure.
Senior Analyst
Interviews with HR, direct leadership, and senior leadership from the area. The focus was on understanding previous experiences and alignment with the expectations for the position in question (standard scope for interviews).
- What made you consider this position and what attracted you to potentially join our company?
Analyst
The selection process went really well in the beginning. Both the HR contact and the manager interview were human and respectful, which gave a good impression of the company and made me feel like I had a good chance of getting hired. However, in the final stage, the interview with the directors, I noticed a disconnect from the expectations set earlier. I was surprised by a test that mostly covered content unlikely to be used in the daily tasks of the role. The test also included math and logical reasoning questions with a high level of complexity, more like a high-level public exam than a technical challenge suitable for the position. This experience caused some discomfort, mainly because it wasn't anticipated in the previous stages, which could have prepared me better for the challenge.
- Move 2 matchsticks to change the fish's direction
Analyst
The interview process was very relaxed and easygoing for everyone involved. Don't stress about it at all. If you've practiced, you should be well-prepared and perform successfully. People are all nice.
- Could you please provide an overview of your resume?
