Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was too long with multiple interviews. They took a lot of time to get back to me, which was unfortunate because I was very motivated, but another company was faster, so I chose them.

The process was easy and the recruiters were very helpful. I had interviews with different teams, which gave me a great understanding of the company. I got to speak with potential colleagues and managers from various teams.

Behavioral

I applied online and had a recruiter screen. Then I spoke with a direct report. This person seemed more interested in how I could help them personally and fill in gaps in their own skills, rather than how I could contribute to the company's growth. I've run into this before, where a direct report interviews you and focuses on their own needs and how you won't interfere with their work, instead of the bigger picture. This interview was no different.

Technical System Design

I went through three technical interviews with three different people and they were all very fair. The interviews covered typical programming, software design, and quality assurance topics. The questions were challenging enough to filter out less experienced candidates, but not so hard that they made me feel inadequate as an engineer.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Describe how you would approach designing a database for a specific problem.
