Applied online via zipecruiter. Received a call from HR two days later. The call was for 1 hr. I received heaps of praise. Was required to do an online assessment before the 2nd interview. The online assessment site repeatedly malfunctioned. I submitted a ticket and alerted Verengo of their difficulties. Before the ticket was addressed, Verengo sent me an email saying they were turning me down. I immediately called the company and asked if there was a mistake only to the embarrassment of being told that it wasn't a mistake. This was not for incompetency or a less than stellar resume. I have everything they ask for in spades. I am dumbfounded. I have never been turned down for a job once I get them in conversation. I am not bitter, I am simply disappointed, "bummed out" even. I know this sounds bitter but I can truly objectively say that Verengo missed out on not only a top sales professional but an overall, culture up lifting individual.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

A Verengo rep came to my house after I showed interest in solar panels. I found this rep to be the most honest and informative among all the companies I spoke with. I asked the rep for a referral, and then the interview process began. It involved two phone interviews with a Recruiting Professional, a face-to-face meeting with the Territory Sales Manager, completing a HireRight background check and an online Personality/Competency Test, and finally a Skype interview with the Sr. Sales Trainer. The overall atmosphere was very professional and friendly.

Behavioral Other

First, there was a phone interview with HR. They asked really generic questions and gave a lot of extra info about the job, pay, and benefits. Next, I had a face-to-face meeting with the sales manager for my specific territory, who is the main person deciding if I get the job. They shared more details about my territory. Finally, a background check was done, mostly looking at my driving record. Onboarding was completed online before I started.
