The hiring process was really disorganized. Initially, I had a phone screen where the interviewer seemed impressed, calling me "perfect" for the role. Despite sending follow-up emails, I heard nothing back, and the position remained open for two months. I reapplied, received a text about the urgency of the role, and then had an interview a week later. Two more months passed, and they still hadn't hired anyone, with the ad still posted, suggesting the role has been open for about seven months. During the interview, one of the interviewers was quite confrontational and said, "We don't need any drama. We just need someone to keep their head down and work."

Replies were slow throughout the interview process. It would have been great to receive timely responses. The interview itself was good, the HR person was nice, and they asked follow-up questions based on my responses.

I applied online to this job, which was a former Chemours plant. It took a few weeks to hear back from the plant. I had two phone interviews, and then they invited me for an on-site interview. There, I did a one-on-one with the plant manager and then a panel with the leadership team. The questions were pretty straightforward, and everyone was genuinely nice.
