Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Veolia.
Administrative
The interview process was long but ultimately worthwhile. I had the opportunity to meet all the team members and managers I would be working with. All of my questions were answered clearly, and I was given a good understanding of what to expect moving forward.
- In five years, where do you envision yourself professionally?
Executive Assistant
Sent my CV, then HR followed up to schedule an appointment. Had an interview with HR where they asked about my skills, experience, English level, and salary expectations. Then I had an interview with the director. The last interview was to discuss salary. They explained the contract, hours, benefits, and the works council. Signed the contract and started.
- Qualities and flaws?
- Experience?
- English level?
Administrative Assistant
Online application, then they contacted me via Whatsapp. The interview was scheduled and conducted quickly. The interviewers were not very open, asked very few questions, and the interview was very fast. One point for them to improve: bring the candidate's resume (which was sent in advance) to the interview, avoiding asking redundant information. They asked me to describe my professional journey, only. The feedback was also quick, I think they didn't like my profile for the position.
- Could you tell me more about yourself?
