Test Engineer
The interview process was smooth and fine, very technical. The hiring manager is more on the technical point of view and is very output-oriented. They are looking for a candidate that can handle pressure.

Test Engineer
So basically the interview has 3 parts. First, you'll chat with the hiring supervisor, and they'll ask you about your technical skills and what you've done before. Then, there's a chat with the hiring manager about your behavior and personality. The final part is an interview with the customer, which is also technical but way harder because it'll be with the customer's technical manager or R&D folks.
- Can you describe the characteristics of electronic components?
- Could you explain the theory behind full-wave rectifiers?
- What is KVL and KCL?
Test Engineer
I applied through Jobstreet.com and they got back to me for an interview two weeks later. First up was a CARAMEL test, which is basically an IQ test, and the questions were pretty straightforward. The next step involved preparing a presentation about myself. If I passed that, I moved on to the interview session.
- What are your plans immediately after you finish your studies?
