The interview process went smoothly and felt comfortable. However, after getting the offer, it became apparent that many of the promises made during the interviews weren't kept. The offer was surprising because I was told I'd receive a significant raise to cover my experience and the rent concession I would lose. Upon calculation, the offer barely compensated for the difference. I did discuss this and made a counteroffer, stating that I was offered less than other BLMs at the company, despite my experience and skills. The response was that it was due to 'the market,' not my qualifications. Unfortunately, this has been a poor experience, not just for me but for others on the office team too. There's been a noticeable lack of transparency, and many commitments made have not been fulfilled.

Applied through Glassdoor with no prior leasing experience, and surprisingly got a call from the recruiting director, Eastin, within two days. We had a Skype interview the next day, which was very relaxed and felt like a casual conversation. He asked me about my job aspirations and what I thought I could contribute. Afterward, I was contacted by Sarah, the property manager, to schedule an in-person interview. We met at a Panera, and it was another easy conversation. Then, I completed a simple 15-minute IQ test. Finally, I spoke with Candi, the regional leasing manager, over the phone. By this point, I was confident discussing the role and my qualifications. The following morning, I received a job offer. The whole experience felt like the company was trying to impress me, which was a positive sign. Despite the multiple steps, everyone was friendly, and the process made me feel secure and informed about the position.

I sent in my resume through Indeed.com and the very next day, Venterra's recruiting team called me to schedule a Skype interview. I was a bit nervous because it was my first time doing a Skype interview, but honestly, it was super easy because Vanessa was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. After that, I spoke with the regional consultant, who was very thorough but still felt like talking to a friend. The whole interview experience was really in-depth and a bit intense, but overall, it was a really comfortable and enjoyable process.
