They had a walk-in drive at the BPK Titanium office in Indore in March. The first round had basic Java questions and an elementary coding question. Management seemed bad. The second round was resume-based with some Java questions. They showed off their office. The company doesn't seem to have projects and their LinkedIn hiring posts might be fake as they only hire one or two people. The interview panel didn't know how to solve DSA questions and they only want Java candidates, even though they don't know SQL queries.

  • What do you know about MAP in Java?

It was a pretty standard interview process. Started with an HR screen, then a few technical rounds, and finished with a culture fit round. I got a verbal offer, but then the recruiter called a few days later to say they were freezing hiring and would consider me in the future. That was a lie because they've since resumed hiring, and even with a referral, my applications keep getting auto-rejected. I won't be applying here again and don't recommend it.

I saw the job posting on StackOverflow and after about a week, an HR person called me. She asked me some general questions about myself and my background, and then asked about 5 or 6 programming questions. Then, I had a technical phone interview with a senior team member where we worked through 3 problems in a shared Google doc. After that, I came in for in-person interviews, which involved one-hour sessions with three different people, followed by a half-hour discussion with another senior team member. I got the offer a few days later.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • They asked programming questions that required general problem solving, and also some questions about algorithms and data structures.
  • A lot of my interview prep was focused on refreshing my knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
