I had a 30-minute chat with HR, with the usual questions. The HR person was great and knew the job details well, which is uncommon. The second interview was with the hiring manager, and it also went well, although I didn't get the job. I liked that both interviews were only 30 minutes and I got a response quickly. I really appreciated the fast turnaround, even though it was a rejection :(

Behavioral Other

Worst experience overall. The interviewer called in late for the phone interview and the whole time the interview was talking with an attitude because of me having an accent and poor interview skills overall. I was shocked that someone who is a 'Partner' level even acted like this on a very first interrogation.

They ghosted me twice. I had an initial call with their recruiter, then moved on to the next phase with a department manager. The questions asked at this stage were challenging, but that's to be expected. What was also to be expected was a present and engaging interaction with the manager, which I did not get. He was reading from a list of prewritten questions. When I gave responses that also answered the follow up question, he would still ask that question even though I already responded. He was disengaged and didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I could see him holding back multiple yawns, and almost looking like he was falling asleep. That totally threw me off, as I was doing my best to not only respond to his questions, but also keep him engaged...that's an unnecessary burden an interviewee shouldn't have to carry. Anyway, a few days later I got a rejection email. No surprise there. My interviewer checked out halfway through our conversation. The rejection email asked if I'd like feedback on the reason and offered to set up a call if I did. I gladly obliged and sent an email indicating my interest. It's been over a week since that email, and I've yet to hear back. Update - Almost two weeks after the interview, the recruiter reached out to schedule a follow up call to go over feedback on my interview. She gave the date available, which was also a good date for me, asked for the times, which I gave…the date came and went with no future communication.
