Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vcheck Global.
Associate
I was asked questions about my due diligence experience, public records, report writing, and public databases. I talked about my background in the due diligence field. Before getting the offer, I had to complete a test case.
- How do you keep up with developments in the due diligence industry?
Senior Associate
I applied online and about a week after they saw my application, I got a Zoom interview with a VP. It was a pretty standard interview, actually friendly, and I thought it went really well. After that, I had to do a two-hour writing test, which wasn't too hard, just summarizing some news articles. But then, just like I've seen in other reviews, I got totally ghosted. I even sent a follow-up email to the interviewer about my status, and never heard back. That's really unusual for me. It takes like 10 seconds to just let candidates know you're moving on. It's the decent thing to do.
- Can you tell me about your background?
Associate
It was a difficult process, taking about 10 months to get hired. There were multiple rounds and a lot of indecisiveness. When I joined, the company was undergoing a lot of restructuring, which meant I didn't get properly trained.
