Sales Development Representative
The interview process at Vanta was super fast and professional. It went like this: First, an HR screening call to chat about fit and your background. Then, a Hiring Manager Interview for a deeper dive into the role and what they expect. Next up was a Sales Simulation, a joint interview with a Sales Manager and a Senior Account Executive. This part included a mock cold call to see your sales skills in action. Lastly, a Sales & Revenue Operations Round, which was a technical/functional chat with someone from the RevOps team. Everyone was really respectful and prepared, asking good, relevant questions and giving me time to ask my own. It felt like a fair process and a good reflection of how professional Vanta is.

Sales Development Representative
The interview process was okay, but it felt a bit disorganized. They mentioned my main concern was limited cold-calling experience, which struck me as a little strange for an entry-level sales position. After a tough interview with a manager, I understood I wasn't the best fit, but I did appreciate how fast they got back to me with their decision. The vibe also seemed a bit like a call center, which aligns with other feedback I'd encountered.
- How would you prioritize 200 accounts at Vanta if you were given them?
Sales Development Representative
I first chatted with a recruiter, then had a quick meeting with a Sr. Sales Leader. After that, I did a principals/behavioral interview with another Sales Manager. This was followed by a mock cold call with the Director of sales. Lastly, I had a coffee chat with my future manager. The whole thing was pretty smooth, I got feedback within 24 hours each time, and they asked some really good questions. Some interviews were quicker than I'm used to, which actually made it pretty stress-free.
- Can you explain a board game or video game in a way that a 5-year-old would understand?
- Given a list of leads, how would you go about managing and prioritizing them?
