Behavioral Case Other

So at Vanguard, the interviews are pretty standard. You'll have phone screens first, then they hit you with behavioral and situational questions. They really like the STAR method for answers. Sometimes there's a case study thrown in too. They're big on making sure you vibe with the company culture, get the financial stuff, and are on the same page with how they invest. It was pretty chill, not too intense.

Behavioral Technical

The interview experience was pretty straightforward. I submitted my application on August 14th and got an immediate text to schedule a phone interview for August 15th. The phone interview was on August 20th, and I chatted with a recruiter, answering about six STAR method/situational/behavioral questions. The recruiter was impressed and told me I'd be moving on to a virtual interview with the hiring manager. I used an automated system to set up that interview for August 26th. During that, I was asked around four situational questions, also using the STAR method. Finally, the recruiter called me on August 29th with the job offer.

The interview process included a phone screening and then I had to complete 3 financial exams (licenses) after the interview to keep the job. The licensing process is pretty much the interview process.
