First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vanderlande Industries.
Mechanical Design Engineer Intern
The interview process took quite a while, and I didn't get updates when I expected them. There were two technical rounds. They asked about stress-strain graphs, mechanical drawing, and fundamental questions like the difference between 2 and 4-stroke engines.
- Can you explain basic mechanical engineering concepts?
- What are some application-based questions in mechanical engineering?
Mechanical Design Engineer
First they invited me for a face to face interview at their pune office. After that, they invited me for a CAD Test and then a final HR round. I completed all rounds but did not get the final offer from Vanderlande.
- What is GD&T and what are its uses?

It was good. I do work in the same domain so they grilled me like anything. Seems like I am giving an interview directly after college, but I have 2.5 years of experience and mentioned that.
