Compliance Auditor
The interview process has 2 rounds. The first round is an introductory interview to check experience and fit with compliance supervisors. The second round has more technical questions about the industry, with higher management. The second round also includes a 30-45 minute job shadow and a 30 minute Excel test. They use the STAR method for all interviews, applying it to job requirements and hiring manager preferences, so prepare for these types of questions.
- Can you share an instance where you had to sway and convince people to implement compliance measures?
Documents Verifier
I went through a two-step interview process. The first round had two interviewers, and the second round had three. They asked basic questions in the first round and then more specific ones in the second. My experience was negative because they used a weak excuse to reject me (my references were too qualified), suggesting they likely made a decision based on my appearance and didn't intend to hire me.
- How do you manage stress or pressure?
Tax Specialist
I first applied for a different job and had a phone interview. Then I got an email saying I didn't get that role but they thought I'd be good for a Tax Specialist position, so I had an in-person interview for that. They asked me a lot of questions, and I felt like I did well. At the end, they told me I wasn't a good fit for that role but they would schedule a second interview and talk to HR about where I might be a good fit. I wish I had asked why I wasn't a good fit, but I was excited they'd try to find a place for me. They were also talking about me on their laptops in front of me, as one of them mentioned saying something to the other person. I left feeling pretty good, and then I got another email saying I was turned down for that position and that I would be fit for document filing! I turned down the interview for that because the job hierarchy just kept getting lower and lower, and it just made me feel awful about myself with my degree and experience. I notice they always have a lot of positions open and the same ones over and over. I’m not sure why it gets an award for best workplace.
- What do you enjoy doing in your free time outside of work?
Account Representative
I was recruited from my college campus and first invited to a company tour. A few days after the tour, I got a call to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was easy and only took about 15-20 minutes. At the end of the call, I was asked to come in for an office interview. This interview lasted about 30 minutes and was with HR. Right after that, I got to listen in on some calls made by Account Reps and then had to complete a personality test that took about 45 minutes. A week or so later, I was called in for a final interview with a panel of 3 people (a "pod" leader and two "team" leaders). They asked me questions, then left to decide. The "pod" leader came back and offered me the job. It was a pretty basic process, and the questions weren't unexpected.
