Marketing Manager
The hiring manager was gaslighting me the entire time. He said I was not qualified for the role in the beginning of the conversation. I’m not sure why he scheduled the meeting other than his ego fix for the day. They gave me an offer a few years ago, but since they appear to have a high turnover in management he is likely unaware.
- Why do you believe you are qualified?
Key Account Manager
I had my initial interview with the HR Talent team, then a 2nd interview with the director of the account management team, and my 3rd final interview was with the VP. Even though I didn’t get the offer, the entire process was seamless and very smooth. Very professional!!
- Can you explain your work experience and how it aligns with the requirements of this role?
General Manager
I first spoke with the recruiter on a Friday, and it went well. The recruiter mentioned they'd contact me early the following week, Monday or Tuesday, to set up the next interview with Rex. If that went well, I'd then interview with Jake. However, Monday and Tuesday passed with no contact. I emailed the recruiter late Tuesday afternoon to inquire, but received no response. About two weeks later, I noticed the position was no longer listed, so I sent another email, but still heard nothing. The company was very unprofessional.
- Tell me about your experience managing a team of outside sales representatives focused on selling advertising.
Graphic Designer
First I had a phone screening, then I had my first interview with the Account Manager/Designer. After that, I had a second interview with the Designer, Director, and President, where I was asked to design a coupon. The designer then contacted me for a third interview with her, the Director, and the President, where I had to design a second, more creative coupon. Following the interview, they asked me to copy a design to gauge the time it would take. They mentioned they'd respond by Monday, but after a week of no word, I reached out. I contacted them again stating I had another job offer, but still, no response. I just want a response, even if it's a rejection; it's unprofessional to go ghost after this much effort. I'd advise others to steer clear of this company!
- Are you open to freelance work if the full-time role doesn't work out?
