Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vallourec.
Production Operator
First, there were psychological exams for memory and reasoning, then interviews with several people in the room asking about you, your experience, schooling, why you applied for the position, talk about a flaw and a quality, and the reason you left your job.
- What is your professional experience?
- Why did you apply for this position?
- What is your level of education?
Production Assistant
They don't give feedback on the selection process, which is a huge lack of respect from HR towards the participants. You spend the whole morning doing psychological tests, attention tests, logical reasoning, and reaction tests, and then you get no feedback.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Production Operator
The process has been very long and drawn out, lasting almost 4 months with no feedback yet. I contacted them by email once and didn't get a response. I think they should show more consideration for candidates, given the number of trips to the company for the different stages.
- Why should this company hire me?
- What are 2 of your strengths?
- What are 2 of your weaknesses?
