Most interviews for administrative roles will start with a HireVue video recorded interview. You won't be able to retake it. If you pass that, the next round is a panel interview with up to 5 people where they ask about 10 questions. The third interview might be with the supervisor and dean of the department. It can be a bit stressful if you're not ready for the panel interviews, but it's not too bad if you know it's coming. Just always remember to give attention to everyone throughout and greet them individually, which has always been a good rule of thumb even before COVID-19, but definitely try to remember everyone’s name.

The interview process is always a panel of at least 5 people, sometimes more. One panel member is usually from HR, and the others are from the department you're applying to. They'll give you a chance to introduce yourself and then ask questions. Each panel member usually asks 2-3 questions, a mix of general interview questions and some specific to the job or division. You'll get to ask questions too. There might be a typing test or writing sample. If they like you, you'll interview with the department head. HR makes the final offer.

Behavioral Presentation Other

It was a large panel interview, and it felt really intimidating with a lot of staring. They had the questions written down on paper in front of you, and each person on the panel asked one question. It lasted about 20 minutes total. Some people on the panel were really friendly, but others were super intimidating. The questions didn't really seem to fit the job. It was held in the executive office conference room in the afternoon.
