Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vale.
Analyst
It was a very human interview, I did two rounds and really enjoyed the experience. They asked about me, my experiences, and explained the role's day-to-day and what's expected.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
- Could you share some of your experiences?
- Can you describe the day-to-day tasks involved in this position?
Senior Analyst
It's a really long process, but it works. All the interviewers were super nice and explained everything the company offers really well. The recruiter was always in touch to let me know about the next steps and always made sure I understood each stage.
- What are your notions of security?
- Specific knowledge test for my role
- Behavioral questions
Infrastructure Analyst
The HR interview was quite nice. However, in the technical interview, the managers were very "closed-minded." They seemed to be older in the company, so they didn't have an open mind to new technologies and didn't know them either. In terms of technology, the company appears very weak and rigid.
- Have you worked with Linux servers before?
