I sent in my application straight through Vail’s website and got contacted for a zoom interview within a week or so. The person interviewing me asked some really simple questions about my past experience in the service industry.
- What wine would I recommend pairing with a steak?
- What wine would I recommend pairing with fish?

It was a video chat interview and overall it was good, the interviewer was nice and the questions were easy. A lot of good information about the company was discussed. The only thing that put me off was the schedule was only discussed at the end of the interview and the hours weren't ideal. Had I known beforehand I wouldn't have applied.
- What is your greatest weakness?
Line Cook
So after I applied, I had 3 interviews in total. First was like a general one about what I'm looking for in a job. Then I talked to the F&B manager, and after that, I had my final interview with the Chef.
- How would you handle a situation where a customer is unhappy with their meal?
