It was a bit of a challenging interview process. I spoke with two different accounting managers. They asked me a bunch of questions about P&Ls, bank reconciliations, accruals, and other accounting topics. They seemed to want to move forward with a second interview, but ultimately decided against it because they preferred a candidate with a college degree over someone with 8+ years of experience. Honestly, I thought that was pretty lame and it really says something about the company and their culture.

So, I had this interview process that was, like, totally not put together. I went through a bunch of rounds, and not even ONE started on time. Like, one time I drove all the way there, waited around, and then they just told me they couldn't fit me in. Another time, I was left waiting for almost 50 minutes. It honestly felt like they weren't prepped for me at all, more like I was a bother. And then, they said they'd let me know in a 'few days,' but it took them TWO MORE WEEKS, and I had to chase them down to get their decision. Really rude about other people's time and effort, honestly.
