Beware! No matter what job position you apply for, they all lead to the same: door to door salesperson. The interview process is lengthy and it starts with you recording yourself answering a series of questions. After that, if you're one of the "lucky" ones to get selected, you'll have a video call with one of their "managers". The interview is long, and they will tell you that there is a training period during which you will be selling in person - they do not mention that this in person basically means being a solicitor. I found this out while doing some extra research because the interviewer's explanation about what the job entailed didn't add up and sounded a lot like an old mlm tupper party where if you sell well, you get brownie points and climb up the ladder. Since my interview was on a Saturday, I decided to be respectful of this person's rest day and wait to call them on Monday to let them know I wasn't interested. Well, it seems that they don't even have rest days because he called me and left a message on Sunday afternoon! Bottom line: to each their own, and selling door to door is a dignified job as any, just call it like it is in the ads so nobody wastes their time.

This person, Ryan, seems untrustworthy and overly critical. He questioned everything on my resume and was dismissive of work/life balance, stating it's more like 50-55 hours/week, not the 8-5 advertised. This role is commission-only, which wasn't clear initially, and I suspect this setup encourages dishonesty. He couldn't handle being questioned himself, and seemed unintelligent and narcissistic. The office environment felt superficial, with flirtatious interactions from the receptionist and others. Honesty and transparency are crucial for any business, and his approach seems dishonest, like a con. He appears to be in too deep or makes many mistakes. Humility would serve him well. My time was wasted.

I applied online and then got a call from HR for an interview. I drove 30 minutes to the interview, and it was annoying because I had to wait almost an hour past my scheduled time, along with others. The interview itself went okay. I couldn't find any info online about the company beforehand, which I thought was weird. So, during the interview, I asked Ryan what the job was about, and it turned out to be door-to-door DirecTV sales. I left, but they called me back that afternoon for a second interview. I figured I'd only go if it was salaried, and HR said yes. When I went back the next day, I found out it's not salaried at all; it's all commission-based door-to-door sales for DirecTV. I don't like companies that aren't upfront about that.

It was an easy process with friendly staff. They mentioned there's room to grow within the company and that it's a great way to build teamwork skills. I'd highly recommend working for Vaddo Inc. The work schedule is great, with an hour lunch break and not too many meetings.
