Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vaco.
Analyst
So the interview has a few parts. First, they'll hit you with standard behavioral questions and want to go over your resume. They're gonna ask about how you work with others, deal with tough situations, and get your point across. There's also a language test to see how well you speak and understand.
- Tell me about a situation where you had a conflict within a team and what you did to fix it.
Senior Analyst
I had 3 interviews with Vaco recruiters: one was a phone call, another a FaceTime call, and the last one was a virtual meeting. After that, I heard nothing back; they completely ghosted me without any response. It lacked transparency, and wasn't a good experience. I definitely won't work with Vaco recruiters again.
- Could you describe your experience?
Analyst
The interview process was informative and well structured overall with about two interviews before a face-to-face meeting with leadership and members of the team that you would collaborate with in the role. The interview is less complex compared to full time positions within tech companies like Amazon, Google, Salesforce etc.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
