Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vaco Binary Semantics.
Research Analyst
This interview process isn't too demanding. It tests your research and analytical abilities. I entered this process via an internal job posting and only went through one round. For other candidates, I believe there might be two or three rounds maximum.
- Describe your approach to researching a given subject.
Research Analyst
The interview process was pretty straightforward and not too difficult. They sent over the topics to prepare for, like KPI, primary research, and secondary research, via email beforehand. Overall, it was easy, just make sure to study what they send you in the mail. That's all.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- Could you explain what KPI is?
- What do you understand by primary research?
Research Analyst
The interview gave a good overview of the topic, covering different angles without being biased, showing the good and bad to give a full picture. It was informative and went deep into a lot of subjects. It showed different views fairly, but some topics could have used more detail.
- Can you explain how to use Google Calendar to filter dates?
