Software Developer
I went through the interview process for the ServiceNow developer co-op. First, I was asked to introduce myself. Then, they inquired about the projects listed on my GitHub profile. I proceeded to demonstrate one of my projects. During the demonstration, I was questioned about the implementation details of certain features and also about how I would approach implementing new functionalities.
- How would you approach displaying a large quantity of records on a web frontend?
Software Engineer
The job involves analyzing business needs, then coming up with and building technical solutions. You'll be in charge of designing and building data architecture and ETL dataflows to support enterprise risk management, analytics, and reporting. It's important to work well with the DBA teams to make sure all the development and deployment rules are followed. You'll also give support to the development teams for current systems, and fix any data or system problems that come up. You need to find out why issues are happening and solve data problems, and also check and make query performance better.
- Can you discuss your experience with SQL, PLSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB?
- Tell me about your skills in SQL.
- How proficient are you with PLSQL?
Software Engineer
It was a telephonic and online test. The first call was to understand my skills, and the technical round went alright. They asked about basic logic and new technologies too. It was a good interview overall.
