Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at USTA.
Intern
I went through two rounds of interviews for the position. The interviewers made me really excited for the position and they were extremely passionate about their jobs. Overall great experience and I recommend applying for the position.
- Why do you want to work for USTA?
Intern
It was pretty easy. I only had one interview with senior management, though some departments had two interviews, starting with a recruiter call. The interview was entirely behavioral, digging deeper into my resume. They were super chill and responded well to personality, alongside professionalism.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you elaborate on the experience mentioned as 'x' on your resume?
Intern
The hiring process was really simple and not stressful at all. Everyone I interacted with was nice, and the questions they asked were pretty standard. I don't think there's anything unusual you need to do to prepare for this.
- Could you tell me about any experience you have with tennis?
- What makes you want to work in this specific role?
