First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ust Global Technology Services.
Intern
after you clear the aptitude round, there's a technical round, either face-to-face or virtual. You'll get asked about core concepts from your branch (AI, DS, or CS basics), programming questions (logic-based, syntax correction, small programs), OOP concepts, DBMS, DSA, and sometimes ML basics. They'll also ask about your projects, internships, and tools you’ve used.
- Could you explain polymorphism with a Python example?
- Can you explain compile-time and runtime polymorphism using simple code examples?
Software Engineer
First, HR screens you, asking about your background, what salary you're looking for, and if you're a good fit for the job. Then, you have your first technical round, which is a coding interview covering data structures, algorithms, and core Java. After that, there's a second technical round that goes deeper into system design, Java frameworks, and how you approach problems. Finally, if all goes well, they'll extend a job offer and you can discuss the compensation and benefits.
- Can you describe the distinctions between HashMap and TreeMap, and how HashMap manages collisions?
- What are the key differences between ArrayList and LinkedList?
- Could you explain the purpose of final, finally, and finalize in Java?
Data Engineer
So, I had this interview experience with UST Global Technology Services that was pretty unprofessional. It started back in December 2024 in Pune, and I got through three interviews. They said the next step was an HR round, but then everything just stopped with no explanation. I tried following up twice by email, but they never got back to me. It’s really disappointing because you put a lot of time into these things, and you at least expect some kind of update, good or bad. They just ghosted me. I hope UST improves their hiring process because this really hurts their image and wastes people's time.
- Can you elaborate on your knowledge of AWS Services?
- What were your specific roles and responsibilities in previous positions?
ReactJS Developer
Got a call from HR and scheduled the 1st round of interview. It went smoothly. The interviewer asked mainly scenario-based ReactJS questions and a few library-related questions like Redux, performance questions, and unit testing.
- Regarding TDD, how do you write unit tests?
- Have you worked on micro frontends?
- What steps do you take to improve the performance of a React application?
