It was a mix of zoom and in-person meetings, starting with a group meeting in an awkward conference room. They gave a slideshow about the company and earnings potential. Then, individual agents talked to me, asking about myself, my reasons for applying, my experience, and my commitment level.

James my sales manager was awesome. He let me know from the get-go that if you stick to using the company leads, you'll only hit the minimum. But if you're entrepreneurial and treat it like your own business, that's where the real money is and you'll see great commissions.

I initiated a brief phone interview with the Manager after not hearing back for two weeks, having been referred by a contact. The Manager was on vacation, which caused the delay. During the call, we discussed my background and qualifications. He was impressed and passed my name to his Assistant. This call lasted about twenty minutes. Later, I got an email from the Assistant Manager with instructions to create a profile on the company website using a provided code and the Assistant Manager's name as the trainer. The website process had about 19 steps and took an hour, asking for employment, education, and reference information. I had concerns about the request for bank information and a $92 application fee, which I learned was for E&O insurance and state processing fees. I'm hesitant about paying the fee due to potential scams and financial concerns, and I inquired about any other hidden fees.
