It was a standard interview process. First, there was a screening call, then a pair programming session with the director which was pretty easy, more like a discussion where the interviewer would code. After that, there were two more standard pair programming rounds, followed by a final interview with the hiring manager. The technical parts and pair programming were easy, focusing on OOP principles. The interviewers were nice, but the recruiter was very rude and late for the screening. They'd interrupt and say things like they'd 'end this process and keep in touch for future opportunities' to pressure me into decisions or negotiations. This negative experience, despite liking the role, made me choose another offer.

I had a video interview with the recruiter. The second round was pair programming, which was a new and interesting approach. The third round was a 3.5-hour interview with 5 people. The fourth round was a half-hour interview with another person. After all this, they didn't tell me they weren't moving forward until I asked them. All the interviews were great, but they seemed to be practicing their interviewing skills on me, which was disrespectful. I wouldn't recommend them unless you have a lot of free time and want to practice interviewing.

I was contacted by a recruiter online and asked to join their hiring process. It began with an HR call. Then, I had a second interview with two engineers who were really friendly and helped me out. This part involved a collaborative coding session. After that, I was invited to the final interviews, which included two technical interviews focused on TDD and one with the hiring manager. They got back to me quickly with the results and I received an offer.
