Project Coordinator
Just wanted to let you know the job title is misleading. This isn't a project coordinator role at all, and has nothing to do with project management. It's actually a customer support position where you'll be handling inbound support tickets. They didn't even ask one project management question during the interview.
- You will be asked to complete an unpaid 30-minute live technical task.
Project Coordinator
The interview process started with a quick recruiter phone call which went fine. Then there was an hour-long meeting with a manager, but it was really bad. The manager didn't seem into it at all, making the whole thing feel boring and lifeless. I actually wanted to quit the interview early but decided to stick it out. This part involved a mock task, which felt a bit unfair because I had to use their systems without any prior experience. It makes you wonder if this is really a fair or good way to pick people. The next step was supposed to be a third interview with more team members, but I wasn't interested anymore after the second one and basically decided not to proceed. I didn't tell them, but they sent a rejection email not long after, which was fine because I wasn't interested anyway. Also, having three interviews for a Project Coordinator role under $50k seemed like too much. I'm sharing this so others know what to expect. The company culture felt weird, and it just wasn't the right place for me.

Project Coordinator
The interview process was great and I felt so comfortable being myself with those that I spoke to. My first interview was a call with the head of ops where she took the time to get to know me, what I was looking for, and an intro on the company & role. I had my second interview about a week later with 2 of the existing project coordinators who were awesome to chat with - very down to earth! They gave me more insight on what the day to day looked like in the role.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience?
- What about this role and user interviews interests you?
- How would you describe your communication style?
