& Process

I had an on-site interview in one day with two people back-to-back, no prior phone screen. The first person spent about 30-45 minutes discussing the company and role, asking just one question. The second person shared a bit more info and asked only a few questions over roughly 20 minutes, with most of that time spent on my questions. It felt like they didn't put much effort into assessing me. About three weeks later, I tried to follow up with HR, but my call wasn't returned. Then, about another three weeks later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job. Overall, the process wasn't very professional, and I suspect it might have just been a formality.

I reached out to a former colleague who works there and they did a quick phone screen and then passed my resume along. It took about a week to ten days to get the interview scheduled. When it was time, it was a pretty intense day where I met with three of the team's Directors back-to-back. They were all very professional and asked questions directly related to the role, showing they really understood the position in detail. Some questions were about my personality and how I'd fit in, while others focused on specific achievements from my resume. One director even had some sample printouts to test if my skills were as strong as they appeared on paper. It was a fair and expected process.

Got into the process through a friend. First chatted with HR/Recruiting about the role and what to expect. Then had a general recruiter call. After that, a phone call with the hiring manager which was mostly a get-to-know-you. Then an in-person with the hiring manager, focused on my past experience and I got to ask them questions too. The last interview was with an executive, their boss, which felt like a final check.
