I applied through my school careers website and also on USAJobs. Although I first wanted to work in the Office of Economic Policy, my application was not accepted for that office, but they did redirect my application to all other offices. About a month later, a manager from a different office (who ended up being my direct supervisor) emailed me and set up a phone interview. By the end of that call, we scheduled a final interview for the next week, but then the offer for that final interview was taken back two days later, when she called to offer me the position.
