I had one interview as part of an OCI process at law school. It was a 30-minute chat with a really nice interviewer. The questions were relevant to the role, and we had a smooth conversation. I heard back about the interview within 2 weeks.

It was pretty simple. First, a screener call, then another interview. The second one was pretty standard and not difficult. They seemed really interested in my resume, so I felt like it was more to check if I was reasonable than anything else.

I had one phone interview, which was the only one I needed since I couldn't come in person. It was about half an hour long, and I got a call the next week saying I got the job. After that, the process was a bit messy; I got another call from DOL asking if I wanted to interview for a position even though I had already accepted their offer. So, I'm not sure about their internal communication.
