The interview process was smooth and easy to navigate. Each unit followed a similar format—background, technical, and interpersonal. I was asked about my experience as stated in my resume, then asked more specific questions pertaining to the subject matter or the unit I was interviewing with.

I heard back a few months after applying and had an interview with the team. A few months later, I got a verbal offer. The process felt opaque between the verbal offer and clearance, with a lack of communication from USAID. An email response would have been appreciated, especially after putting in so much effort. It seems like USAID uses contractors like Credence. They need to improve communication and at least acknowledge questions, making candidates feel valued.

First, there was a language and knowledge test. Then, a panel interview with my direct boss and other people from the office. Some people were nice, and others were tough. Overall, it was a good experience, but the feedback at the end was poor. It was a very long process.
