I applied via a link and got the HireVue interview in just a few days. My advice is to finish it super quick, and then just sit tight and wait for them to reach out.

I had to complete a challenging and interesting take-home project, which I then uploaded my code for on GitHub. It gave me exposure to a bunch of new technologies and tools.

I applied for a job with no reply. After six months, I got contacted for a different role. HR couldn't explain what happened to the first position. The first step was a phone screen with the top manager. The actual onsite interview was with HR, who were disorganized and couldn't describe the position well. They mostly talked about HQ perks. The main people I interviewed with seemed detached and vague about the job, losing interest quickly, as if they were expecting younger candidates, since most employees I saw were very young. It would have been better if they had just said they were looking for an "energetic" candidate during the phone interview. I felt my time was wasted and they weren't serious about considering me.
