First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Urban Company.
Senior Category Manager
It was a really good interview process with empathetic interviewers. They asked thoughtful questions, making it more of a discussion than an interview. I didn't feel stressed at all and it made me feel like it's a great place to work. Plus, the location was my choice, which made it even better.
- Can you provide details about a project listed on your CV?
Category Manager
The interview process included an online assessment first, then two rounds of interviews. After the interviews, they put out the final selection list. The interviews were mostly based on the resume, and the second round focused on my college club experiences since it was a college recruitment.
- Can you tell me more about your experiences in college clubs?
- Can you elaborate on the details from your resume?
Category Manager
The process had 3 rounds. Round 1 was about guesstimates and problem solving. Rounds 2 and 3 were mostly case studies with some background questions. I passed the first two rounds, but the HR was very slow to respond. They took about a month to get back after my third round and rejected me without a good reason, even though my third round was similar to the first two and I performed well. The HR ghosted me when I called her. It felt like a waste of time, and they probably just wanted my resume. Their organization skills were poor.
