The owner didn't ask about my second-hand buying experience, and when I tried to talk about it, they cut me off and said they want hard workers, not lazy employees. They then asked how much sick time a full-time employee should get, and I guessed around 15 days a year. They immediately turned down the buyer position, mentioning their sales associate who started with less pay. They didn't ask about my resale knowledge and assumed I wouldn't show up enough due to my sick time answer. They also didn't ask about my work ethic. It felt demeaning, and I wouldn't recommend applying here.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. Be aware that you might be interviewed at the front of the store with customers around. Initially, I was asked some questions and then given the chance to ask my own. Right after that, they asked if I was okay with doing a work-in interview on the spot. This involved putting clothes back on shelves and interacting with a few customers. The whole experience, from applying to getting the job offer, was quite fast. I applied in late May, had my interview the following Monday, and received an offer that Friday. For attire, aim for a neat appearance, but not overly formal. I wore light wash skinny jeans with no rips, a somewhat dressy black top, and heels. Employees have flexibility in what they wear as long as it's appropriate (no sweats or very short shorts). It's important to showcase your sense of style. Try to dress 'modern,' as this term is emphasized. Also, for a retail associate role like the one I applied for, you might be placed as a Fashion Consultant, as this is a common starting point (though I'm not entirely sure about management positions).
