Account Manager
Applied online and got a call from an admin about the job, then was invited for an in-person interview. It was nerve-wracking at first but then the office environment totally changed my mind. It's super unique with lots of plants and art, including a painting by the owner. It felt more like a world tour than a corporate office! The president was really nice and you could tell he loves his job. It felt more like a chat than an interrogation, unlike another interview I had that day. I'm going back next week for another interview and really hope to get it.
- In ten years, where do you envision yourself?
- Can you share the most recent adventurous activity you participated in?
- Summarize yourself using just three words.
Account Manager
I was nervous, but the owner was friendly, making me comfortable. It was quick and easy. Knowing it's a highly recruited office, I knew there'd be competition and few positions. They offered me a full-day job shadow to see what the position entails. Without it, I wouldn't have understood the opportunity. After 5 weeks, I feel it's important to review so others know this is a career, not a job. I learned more in 5 weeks than in 4 years of college. This career path is something I stumbled upon and will stick with. I suggest the underqualified or overqualified apply as the owner is looking for specific individuals to grow with.
- Can you share the most adventurous experience you've had?
Account Manager
The hiring manager was friendly and spoke quickly, but I felt prepared because I had already researched the company and their figures. We discussed travel and being part of a forward-moving team, which was interesting. The office had a unique vibe with loud music, and the overall atmosphere seemed very positive and energetic.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
