First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Uproar PR.
Public Relations Manager
I interviewed here twice. The first time, I got through the first round and had a great rapport with both interviewers, feeling confident about at least getting a second interview, but then never heard back. HR called me back a few weeks later, apologized, said they were re-organizing, and asked if I'd like to interview for a different department. Same thing happened again. I didn't return their calls after that.

Account Executive
I interviewed sometime around May. During my second round of interviews, the interviewers were off-putting and unfriendly. They showed no personality throughout the process and were unable to answer several of my questions. Although, everyone I spoke to was new to the company, so I believe that is extremely telling of the company's turnover. I received no communication back from the company after interviewing. For a company that is focused on PR and communications, it's insulting to be ghosted during an interview process. If I'm writing a custom cover letter and spending time preparing for an interview, in the very least I expect a rejection email. I had no intention of writing a review for the interview process, but I'm doubly insulted that after checking my email today, the company had the audacity to add my email to their newsletter. I want nothing to do with a company that does not communicate and then uses me as a way to boost their own engagement.
- Can you tell me about your resume and some of the projects you've worked on?
Account Coordinator
The interview process was really unprofessional. I was called in for an interview and was surprised when four people showed up to interview me. They mentioned I'd hear back in two weeks, but after two weeks passed with no word, I followed up. I didn't get a response, so I followed up again a few weeks later and received a very generic reply. This interview was in April and it's now August, and I still haven't heard back. I assume I didn't get the job, but it would have been nice to get some kind of notice instead of being left hanging.

Digital Team Member
I've been through a lot of interviews in my career, and this was a pretty good one. The agency team was efficient and clear about what was next. Idalia from HR was really responsive and kept communication open, making sure we were on the same page about expectations.
