Sales Executive
Got an email a day after I applied. My resume wasn't anything special, so I was surprised. The email just said to schedule a phone interview, which I did for the next day. It was kind of a weird but okay interview. I wasn't asked much and didn't get much info, but it felt like a standard first interview. At the end, they asked me to schedule a second phone interview for the next day. This second interview was way more detailed and lasted 23 minutes. They asked about my past experiences, my skills, and for examples. Then they gave me a sales situation. The scenario was that I had to give a sales pitch to someone who was worried about affording the service because they didn't have financial security. I was told about this situation in the first interview, so I had a pitch ready. The interviewer was pretty chill and laid-back. We chatted about holidays and stuff before getting into it. He didn't hype up the company but just told me about the job, what's expected, and what the company looks for in people. He was really nice and professional, which made it easy to talk and feel comfortable. He said I'd get an email within a week. It's been a week exactly, and still no email. Hope it comes soon!
- What are your top two accomplishments?
- Can you share some of your experiences and qualifications?
- Could you provide an example that demonstrates your qualifications or experiences?
Sales
First, I did a quick phone call with a recruiter. She just ran through a list of questions and wasn't very conversational. The next interview, I talked to the recruiter again, who mentioned she'd only been there for 3 months. That explains it. I waited in a room for 20 minutes before someone came in for the interview. It was pretty standard interview questions. The interviewer was very emotionless, making it hard to feel comfortable. I didn't accept the offer because I won't do a sales job that runs from 3pm to 12am. I heard from someone who used to work there that the company has really high turnover and people have to sit at their desks the whole shift without moving. That's wild.
- What is your greatest weakness?
- What are your career aspirations in five years?
Client Acquisition
There was a first phone call to confirm I understood the role and had the basic requirements. Then I went in for an interview at their office. The vibe there was pretty chill, dress code was casual, and they even had a ping pong table in the lobby. The whole thing took about 30 minutes. They wanted to know about my previous jobs, what I'm good at, what my weaknesses are, and how I deal with them. Also asked how I thought I'd do the job.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to overcome a challenge at work?
Attorney
I met with five different people for the interview. We talked about my qualifications and my previous work experience. I also discussed how this firm is different from other firms I've worked at. They shared some good information about the firm.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- What makes this firm stand out compared to past firms you've worked for?
- Could you share some details about the firm?
