Content and Community Manager
The interview process started great. The HR person asked some basic questions and then I was moved to the next interview. The interview with the VP of Marketing was also good, she was nice and asked relevant questions. I was then advanced to the final interview with the CEO. However, this last interview was not good. I was supposed to meet two co-CEOs but only met one. He was disengaged, focused on his computer, and asked behavioral questions in a dismissive manner. I tried to stay positive, but it felt unwelcoming. They mentioned I would hear back within one to two weeks, but it actually took them about a month. Even after I followed up multiple times, they ghosted me. I regret declining another job offer because I thought this role was a better fit. Ultimately, I received an automated rejection email after the CEO interview, which felt like a poor way to end the process after such a long wait.

Account Manager
The process was pretty standard at first: online application, then a quick recruiter call, followed by an interview with the direct manager, and finally an interview with two of the founders. The direct manager was kind of negative about some team members, which made me uncomfortable. The founder interview was alright, though one kept interrupting the other. The offer stage was the real surprise. They never mentioned the hours were 9-6 instead of 9-5, and the recruiter tried to say that was normal, which it isn't. Plus, the offer was $15,000 less than advertised. They said there was commission, but reviews suggested it was hard to earn. They also changed my role to something that typically earns way more and claimed it was the same job. I ended up just giving them very high numbers until they backed off.
- How would you handle a customer who signed a contract but is refusing to pay?
UI Designer
The selection process I went through was quite thorough and well-organized, even though it took a pretty long time. It involved four different interviews, and each one was important for seeing how skilled I was and if I'd fit in. There was a specific design case study involved. The whole process gave a really complete picture of the job, letting them dig deep into what candidates could do. One thing though, they didn't give much specific feedback when they told me I didn't get the job after all the interviews. Maybe they could improve by giving more detailed insights into why someone wasn't chosen.

HR Manager
I applied and was contacted two days later for a video interview. The interview went very well. They told me I would move on to the next step and asked me to keep them updated on my availability to leave my current company sooner. I did so the same evening! No response and no further contact for the next step, despite me following up... TWO MONTHS LATER, at almost 10 PM, I received an email saying they had hired someone who was apparently further along in the process and already at the final stage.
