Customer Service Representative
Yeah they do interview and it's a long process. They will call you first and then have you come in for an in-person interview. They will give you the job offer right over the phone. They asked about twenty different questions in both interviews.
- Tell me three words that describe you.
Customer Service Representative
You'll chat with 1-2 recruiters who will want to know about your past work, why you feel you'd be a good fit for this job, and so on. After that, you'll do a pretend call to show how you'd handle interacting with a customer. They might give you some thoughts on your answers and then open it up for you to ask them anything.
- What do you consider to be the most crucial trait for a customer service representative?
Customer Service Representative
The application and interview process was extremely time consumptive and failed to allow for disclosure about decision making. The application and Resume submittal took a long time then you had to answer online questions and pass screening tests. These were followed by a 30 min telephone interview that then led into an hour long team video interview. All that culminated by getting sent a two sentence email saying that they are considering other applicants! What? I am very disappointed and dismayed by the whole process and am now glad that I was not hired! It is their loss and I will not use either Unum or Colonial Life personally for any service.
- What motivated you to apply for a position at Unum?
