First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Univision.
Sales Planner
I talked to the sales team that I would end up working with. It was a panel of 5 people: the director of sales, a sales manager, and 3 sales executives. I had to email a power point presentation about their radio station after doing research. They were really looking for research and presentation skills, since that's what the job is all about.
- Tell me about a time you had to handle customer conflicts.
Sales
I sent in my application online and got a call back pretty quickly, within about a week. Then, I went in for an in-person interview a few days after that. I met with my potential supervisor and the people I'd be working with. It seemed to go really well, they seemed pretty impressed with my resume and how I answered everything. After that, they let me know my application was being sent over to HR. About a week later, I had a phone chat with someone from HR. On that same day, they offered me the job.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What would you say are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
Sales
After a few interviews, Univision stopped responding unexpectedly. Even though things seemed to be going well and I was engaged, I felt ghosted without knowing what happened. This really shows how important it is for companies to communicate clearly during hiring, showing respect for both the candidate and the process.
- Can you describe your background?
- What's your leadership style?
