The interview process kicked off with a formal application and ensuring academic minimums were met. After that, I met with a potential supervisor and other faculty members to make sure we were a good fit for research and the team culture. The department did a good job showing off all the research they're doing, introducing me to other students, and talking about work-life balance. We finished the day with a relaxed dinner with the supervisor and the department head.
