It was quite simple. I prepared a 15-minute presentation on the requested topic. The main supervisor, project manager, and one research flow member were present. They asked me about my presentation and my previous experience, especially my PhD thesis.

Presentation Behavioral

I had to prep a 10 min presentation about how I'd fit the project. It was with a panel of 2 professors and the current postdoc. The vibe was really off, some were passive aggressive, one was straight up rude. One prof even questioned my value and if I was wasting his time. They did offer me the position though. It was wild because they didn't ask me anything specific about my background or application materials; it felt like they hadn't even read them. This was one of the worst academic interviews I've been through.

  • Describe your proposed approach to this project.
