The faculty were described as lovely and supportive, aiming to help candidates succeed. As each project is unique, the interview was tailored to the candidate's current work. The supervisor was nice and laid-back, with no intention to pressure candidates, but rather to get to know them.

I found this PhD opportunity on FindAPhD.com and submitted my application online, including my CV, cover letter, and references. About 2-3 weeks after applying, close to the deadline, I got invited for an interview, which was held a week later. It was a bit of a bummer that they didn't cover travel expenses since I had to travel a long distance. The interview itself was 30 minutes. It kicked off with a 10-minute presentation about my recent third-year dissertation project. After that, they asked questions. First, they dug into my presentation, making sure I grasped the technical details. Then they moved on to other topics like my motivation for pursuing a PhD, my interest in this particular university, and any recent research news that caught my eye. To wrap up, they asked how I'd react to receiving an offer. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I got an official offer later the same day.
